Volunteer Opportunities

St. John's offers some wonderful ways for parents and grandparents to be involved in their children's education. Below is a short description for each of the volunteer opportunities that are available at the School. To sign up to help in one of these areas, please complete the form and click the "Submit Form" button.

Administration/Office - Assemble event packets and bulk mailings a few times during the school year. This is a very flexible opportunity to support SJES.

Athletics/Coaching - The athletic department is looking for parents to assist in coaching positions available throughout the year.

Candy Cane Lane - Parent volunteers serve as event cashiers, gift wrappers, and personal shoppers.

Cardinal Field Day - A fun-filled day of track and field events, we invite volunteers for various shifts to help manage this highly-anticipated outdoor program.

Cardinella  -  Meet new people and get involved by supporting the School's biggest fundraising event of the year.

Carpool - New this year, parents are invited to participate in our morning carpool program, greeting our students as they begin their day!

Family Festival - Our Back-to-School celebration where your participation is priceless! You can sponsor, chair, or volunteer at a booth and have loads of fun!

Library - We welcome your help and involvement in our Library. Volunteers work consistent, regular shifts helping to check books in and out, shelve books, assist students during class visits, and much more.

Lunch Program - Volunteer in the kitchen helping to serve our children a healthy lunch. Once a week is all it takes, or share your day with a friend for a twice-a-month commitment.

Middle School Dances - Middle School parents have fun planning and decorating the students' dances throughout the year!

Middle School Play Production - Help is needed in all areas, from set building to ticket sales.

Nurse's Office - Throughout the year, the nurse's office will call on you to assist with various health screenings and campus-wide events, such as Healthy Heart Day.

Room Parent - Support your child's class by serving as the loason between your classroom parents and your teacher. Please sign up by September 2 and indicate the grade level of your child.
