The Annual Fund

Your gift to the Cardinal Fund advances the mission of the School and ensures the best academic experience for EVERY St. John’s Cardinal. It helps us bridge the gap between tuition and the cost of a St. John’s education.

Current parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, and faculty and staff give generously each year, along with friends of the School. Participation from each community group has grown over the years and we are so grateful for our Faculty and Staff, School Committee, and PTF Board who support us with 100% participation year over year.

The easiest and quickest way is to go through our website:  Enter our SJES link.  For more details, including how to make gifts of stock or matching gifts, please contact the Advancement Team. If you prefer to write a check, make it out to "St. John’s Episcopal School," and in the memo section indicate where you want to gift to go (i.e. Cardinal Fund). A gift at any amount supports the St. John’s Cardinal Fund. We urge you to make St. John’s your philanthropic priority. Strong parent participation makes a powerful statement to our internal and external community. Please give what you can.

Pledges are welcomed for the Cardinal Fund. Pledges can be set up on the Cardinal Fund Form. Please note that for the 2024-25 Cardinal Fund, all pledge payments must be fulfilled by June 30, 2025.

Yes! You can make a pledge and set up monthly payments towards your pledge. Please contact the Advancement Team for set up information.

We launch our Cardinal Fund in the Fall. By campaign design, many of our gifts come in during the first 8 weeks after launching the Cardinal Fund. The fiscal year is July 1 to June 30.

When a grandparent makes a gift of $2,500 supporting the Cardinal Fund during the 2024-25 school year, they will receive a special leaf on our Grandparent Donor Tree in gratitude.
